“Celtica Festival” mountain diorama with epoxy resin lake and stream
Multi-material mountain landscape diorama. A stone house on a grassy hill sits next to a lake, beside a stream pouring from snowy peaks. Trees encircle the back of the house, a woodpile is on the right, a small pond on the left. A painted menhir with bonfire reminds the one standing inside the Peuterey Wood, in Valle d’Aosta (Italy), erected for the Celtica Festival.
More than 40 characters and decorations animate the diorama: shepherds, cows, sheeps, dogs, horses, wild animals at the base of the mountains, climbers on the mountains with an eagle. Among the numerous decorations, several flowerpots around the house, a bench overlooking the lake, a bridge crossing the stream.
All the rocks come from the valley where the Peuterey Wood stands, Val Veny. The waters are made in epoxy resin. The snow is made from grated white rocks glued with white silicone.
