String art

String art is one of the favourite techniques of Locutus and Rici. It’s the first technique they tried together. A string art piece was the very first do-it-yourself project made together, shoulder to shoulder. A string art piece was the first commissioned project.

String art is always the favourite place for tests: different kinds of thread, multimaterial crafts, various sizes and shapes…

The first experiment involved a tool once used by Locutus’s grandfather at work: a hole punch for leather. It’s the perfect utensil to weave thread around nails easily and quickly. It’s the signature tool in #LRCrafts utility belt.
