My nickname Rici comes from childhood: a friend of mine invented it to mock rebel curls. My real name is Sara.
I’m a front-end developer for a living, but I also have a degree in archaeology, and I've been working for more than a decade in museums and digs.
My crafting passion is at best with the lucet (
about which I'm carrying out historical research), embroidery and string art, but I love experimenting new techniques. I’m good at tasks requiring patience: I like carefully refinishing, cleaning and perfecting details.
I am author of
"The Lucet Compendium: a historical exploration and practical guide" with co-author Daniel C. Phelps.
I’m an Irish Dancer, sharing my passion with my husband and a group of lovely friends. We indeed met thanks to our dance academy!
