Moniquenwerk

The shop carries an extensive range of embroidery materials, f.i. for broderie d’art (luneville) and goldwork. It is probably the only shop in the Netherlands with this kind of assortment.

The brick and mortar shop can only be visited after making an appointment. It is worth the visit because of the feeling of entering a candy shop full of colours and flavour. The webshop is always available, of course.

Owner Monique is very knowledgeable. She is a skilled embroideress herself, teaches workshops and has been (and still is) a champion of securing broderie d’art in the Inventory of Intangible Heritage Netherlands.
