Wooden lyre-shaped lucet

Historical reenactment

Wooden lucet, a tool for cordmaking and braiding, lyre-shaped with two prongs and a central hole where the handle begins.

It’s common in Medieval reenactments, but its real history is more controversial.

A wonderful crafter and a talented engineer, you’ll find his technical signature in several projects.
He's always the one who find a way to repair what's broken and to make what's needed.
He's a good sculptor, mainly with wood and alabaster. He loves making furniture pieces and dioramas.
Grandson of a seamstress and a shoemaker, he's also talented at the sewing machine (but don't ask him to hand stitch!).
Paramount for any crafting project are his inclination for careful planning and his ability to find easy solutions for complex problems.
