Those decals have been found on a sewing machine owned by Karen Lewis, that we thank for the photos.
The emblem of The National Rifle Association in the UK (established in 1859) is on the base of the machine. Also the treadle has matching decorations.
The highly ornate design with mother-of-pearl inlays makes us think it was a custom hand-crafted design.
